Liquidity pools & smart money
Separate what is observable on a retail chart from what is only inferred Identify where resting orders cluster, including equal highs and lows Use the candle close as the only available test of sweep versus break Apply the mechanism to stop placement while sizing down to hold risk constant
Order blocks & fair value gaps
Explain what a fair value gap describes and why price often returns to it State honestly what is and is not established about order blocks Avoid the confluence trap of tools that always produce a signal Treat both as higher-timeframe zones of interest rather than entries
Market structure deep-dive
Distinguish displacement from drift and require a decisive close before believing a break Separate internal structure within a pullback from a genuine trend reversal Trade the failed break, and explain why it traps both sides Apply range-specific rules instead of trend logic inside a range
Multi-timeframe confluence
Test whether two inputs are genuinely independent by asking if they could disagree Take permission from the higher timeframe and timing from the lower Place the stop on the higher timeframe and size the position from it Explain why a third timeframe produces agreement rather than rigour
